Insirational verses for women

In God’s eyes, your worth is not based on outward appearance. You were created in His own image, and Jesus, the Son of God, was sent to die for your sins and give you eternal life. You are precious in God’s sight. If that truth feels hard to accept, don’t try to work it out on your own understanding — the best place to find real self-esteem is in the Word of God.

So many of us struggle to see our own worth, or feel ashamed to value ourselves at all. Before we can address that, it helps to understand what real confidence actually looks like.

True confidence comes from the inside out. A woman who knows her worth isn’t dependent on anyone else to feel good about herself. As a daughter of God, you can recognize that you are already enough, just as you are. Knowing your strengths and capabilities isn’t about pride — it’s about being honest with yourself, including the areas where you still have room to grow. No one is perfect, and that’s okay. We all carry both strength and weakness.

Self-worth is a core part of our identity, essential to how we experience joy in life. Once it’s grounded, it comes from within — but it can also be attacked or worn down from the outside. A woman with low self-worth often feels that way because she has absorbed negative messages about women from society, relationships, or her own past experiences.

Women play vital roles in the church and in their families. They can build up or break down a household, and they are essential to spreading the Word of God. Understand the role you play in ministry — may the Lord remind you of His Word, and may His blessings rest upon you. Amen.

Like men, women often feel these struggles deeply, especially when wrestling with low self-confidence and self-respect. The enemy loves to pile on guilt: that we’re not good enough mothers, not good enough partners, that inner voice whispering we’re not quite enough or worthy of love. But for the women who truly struggle with feelings of inadequacy, here is an encouraging truth: God loves you for who you are in Him and in His Word. You are His masterpiece.

You are made in the image of God, and you are precious in His sight. Here are some of the best Bible verses to remind you of God’s truth for your life.

For you will spread abroad to the right and to the left, and your offspring will possess the nations and will people the desolate cities. “Fear not, for you will not be ashamed; be not confounded, for you will not be disgraced; for you will forget the shame of your youth, and the reproach of your widowhood you will remember no more. For your Maker is your husband, the Lord of hosts is his name; and the Holy One of Israel is your Redeemer, the God of the whole earth he is called. …

Scripture is what truly changes how we see ourselves. It reshapes our identity and our confidence.

It’s time for women of God to stand and say, “I choose not to believe what the world says about me. I believe what God, my Heavenly Father, says about me.”

The same is true when it comes to low self-confidence. If you’re struggling with low self-worth, the answer isn’t to look inward for the solution.

The remedy is to look outward, past yourself and the people around you, and fix your eyes on the Lord. Don’t carry a spirit of fear — choose the everlasting love of the God of peace instead. A woman of God is strong, full of love, with a sound mind and an unshakable spirit.
